The Basics

What Are Cannabis Edibles?

Edibles are cannabis-infused food and beverage products. Unlike smoking or vaping, edibles are processed through the digestive system, which means they take longer to take effect but typically produce longer-lasting, more body-focused experiences. They are discreet, smoke-free, and available in precise doses.

Gummies

The most popular edible format. Available in a range of flavors, potencies, and cannabinoid ratios. Easy to dose, easy to carry, and consistent batch to batch.

02

Chocolates

Cannabis-infused chocolate bars and bites. Typically divided into scored pieces for precise dosing. Dark, milk, and white chocolate options from quality confectioners.

03

Beverages

Cannabis-infused drinks including seltzers, teas, and tonics. Often formulated for faster onset than traditional edibles, with effects typically felt within 15-30 minutes.

04

Baked Goods & More

Cookies, brownies, mints, and other infused products. Varied in potency and format. We carry options that prioritize taste alongside consistent dosing.

Dosing Guide

How Much Should You Take?

Dosing is the most important factor with edibles. Start low, go slow, and be patient. The right dose depends on your experience level, body weight, metabolism, and what you have eaten that day.

Beginner

2.5 - 5 mg THC

Start here if you are new to edibles or have low tolerance. A 2.5mg dose produces mild effects: slight relaxation, gentle mood lift, subtle body ease. A 5mg dose is still considered a low, manageable dose for most adults.

Advice

Wait at least 2 hours before taking more. Effects can take 45-90 minutes to appear.

Intermediate

10 - 25 mg THC

For regular cannabis users with established tolerance. This range produces more pronounced effects: stronger euphoria, noticeable body relaxation, altered perception. Only move to this range after you are comfortable with lower doses.

Advice

Know your tolerance before increasing dose. Effects can be significantly stronger.

Experienced

25+ mg THC

Reserved for high-tolerance consumers with extensive edible experience. Effects at this level are strong and long-lasting. This range is not appropriate for beginners under any circumstances.

Advice

Even experienced consumers should be mindful of set and setting at higher doses.

What to Expect

Onset & Duration

Understanding timing is critical with edibles. Unlike smoking, which produces effects within minutes, edibles follow a different timeline that varies based on the product type and your individual metabolism.

Key Rules

The Golden Rules of Edibles

1

Start Low, Go Slow

Begin with 2.5-5mg if you are new. Wait at least 2 hours before considering more. You can always take more; you cannot take less.

2

Eat Something First

Edibles on an empty stomach can hit harder and faster. Having food in your system helps moderate the experience.

3

Do Not Mix with Alcohol

Combining edibles with alcohol amplifies both effects unpredictably. If you are new to edibles, consume them on their own.

4

Be Patient

The most common mistake is taking a second dose because the first has not kicked in yet. Wait. It will.

5

Store Safely

Edibles look like regular food. Always keep them in their original packaging, labeled, and stored securely away from children and pets.

What to Look For

Quality Markers in Edibles

Consistent Dosing

Quality edibles have the same dose in every piece, not just per package. Look for products that are individually dosed and clearly labeled.

Clean Ingredients

We prioritize edibles made with quality ingredients beyond the cannabis itself. No unnecessary fillers, artificial colors, or low-quality carriers.

Lab Verified Potency

Every edible we carry has been lab tested to confirm the actual THC/CBD content matches what is on the label. Accuracy matters.
