Current openings at Studio 57 NY. All positions are based at 570 Midland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306.
Budtender
Budtenders are the face of Studio 57 NY. You will guide customers through our product selection, answer questions about strains, potencies, and consumption methods, and create an experience that keeps people coming back.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and verify identification at check-in
- Provide knowledgeable product recommendations based on customer needs
- Maintain deep knowledge of current inventory, strains, and product categories
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and compliant with NYS regulations
- Participate in ongoing product education and team training
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Genuine interest in cannabis and willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, non-judgmental approach
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must pass a background check per NYS OCM requirements
Shift Manager
Shift Managers keep Studio 57 NY running smoothly. You will oversee daily operations, mentor budtenders, manage inventory flow, and ensure every customer interaction meets our standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts
- Lead, train, and develop budtender team members
- Manage opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team
- Ensure compliance with all NYS OCM regulations and Studio 57 NY policies
- Handle customer escalations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Report operational issues and improvement opportunities to leadership
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience
- Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate a team
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass a background check per NYS OCM requirements
Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator will drive Studio 57 NY’s brand presence across digital and local channels. You will create content, manage social media, coordinate promotions, and help build our reputation as the East Shore’s go-to dispensary.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategy across all platforms
- Create compelling content including copy, photography direction, and campaign concepts
- Coordinate in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community events
- Manage email marketing and customer communications
- Track marketing performance metrics and report on ROI
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with NYS cannabis advertising regulations
- Collaborate with leadership on brand strategy and community engagement
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail or lifestyle brands
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content management tools
- Understanding of cannabis advertising regulations in New York State
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Must pass a background check per NYS OCM requirements
